  • The morning bobbing commotion of Mekong river life comes to life for another lovely day our boat set sails to Cantho through tributary and canals.

  • Transfer to Cairang: one of the most bustling floating markets in Mekong. We go for a walk along the canals and the palm-shaded creek to see local houses and green orchards, ship building yards, rural and water activities in full swing.

  • Boarding back at noon, with a welcome-back drink.

  • 1100 Disembark in Cantho. The cruise concludes.

Today, 

Day 01 CAIBE – MYTHUAN - SADEC(L,D)

  • 11.00-11h30 boarding LE COCHINCHINE boat. Enjoy welcome drink.

  • LeCochinchine continues sets sails to Caithia while lunch is served on boat.

  • Embark on a lovely cycling excursion on the bank of the peninsula browsing several verdant villages. Visit of the gardens and orchards, local houses and ample opportunity meet with people and get insight into Delta life . Visit Caodai temple on the way to Mythuan.

  • Continue our cruise toward Sadec, a nice and quiet town overlooking Mekong river

  • Visit the lively Sadec food market and primary school headed by Magueritte Duras.

  • Walks along the village path and get yourself acquaintance with rural activities as farmers farm their fields: rice fields, and vegetable farms, fish farms.

  • Back to our boat for a cruise down stream. Relax on boat while sipping an aperitif .

  • Dinner and overnight on board

Day 02 CAITHIA - VINHLONG - TRAON (B,L,D)

  • Breakfast on board on the Mekong.

  • Visit Binh Hoa Phuoc island and go for a walk through the islets, sampling native fruits viewing local handicraft production and meet the local people.

  • Transfer to a local boat for an extensive visit of Cai Be: the floating market, the mazes of waterway , local pop-rice and sweets production.

  • Visit old houses, delightful flower gardens and local coconut candy and rice paper manufacturers.

  • Le Cochinchine continues its cruise to Cochien. Lunch served on board

  • Embark on a pleasant walk on the footpaths of the countryside to discover tropical fruit orchards and the local people's activities. Visit a cottage industry , a local farm and sample seasonal fruits.

  • Boarding back, complimentary drink as a welcome back on board. Open bar and rest on the deck enjoying the sunset. The crew will serve dinner while the Le Cochinchine is cruising Mang Thit river.

Day 01 CANTHO - TRAON(L,D)

  • 1130 We embark on an excursion by small boat to explore the arroyos & canal of Cairang market, one of the most bustling floating markets in the whole Mekong Delta. We go for a walk through the palm-shaded creek to see local houses and green orchards.

  • Enjoy the drinks served on our cruise while we set sails to Tra On. Lunch is served on board.

  • Leisurely cruise down the Mekong while enjoying the beautiful scenery

  • Visits of the fruit farm and walks amongst pleasant villages on the footpaths of the countryside. Opportunity to meet with local people.

  • Boarding back at the boat with an aperitif while enjoying the magnificent sunset on the Mangthit canal and Nicola river. Dinner and overnight on board

Day 02  VINHLONG– MYTHUAN -SADEC (B,L,D)

  • Breakfast on board while viewing a splendid sunrise on the Mekong.

  • Walk /cycle amongst the lush vegetation to visit the fruit farm , the handicraft villages and meet with local people .

  • Le Cochinchine set sails again to Sadec while lunch is served on board.

  • Visit busy Sadec food market and primary school headed by Magueritte Duras.

  • Walk along the village path and acquaintance with rural activities as farmers farm their fields: rice fields, vegetable farms, fish farms.

  • Boarding back at the boat with an aperitif while cruising down to Caithia.

  • Dinner and overnight on board .

Day 03 DAY  CAIBE DEPARTURE (B)

  • Breakfast on the boat.

  • Cycling on the bank of the peninsula for a visit to the gardens and orchards.

  • Le Cochinchine continues its cruise toward Caibe.

  • Transfer to a local boat for an extensive visit of Cai Be: the floating market, local pop-rice and sweets production. Visit  colonial buildings, old houses, delightful flower gardens and local coconut candy and rice paper manufacturers.

  • Boarding back at noon, with a welcome-back drink.

  • 1100-1130 Disembark in Caibe. The cruise concludes.

Day 1 SAIGON -CAIBE -VINHLONG -SADEC (L,D)

 

  • 0800: Pick up from your hotel and depart to Mekong Delta

  • Arrival Mekong Delta, and embark on our cruise and welcome drink on the boat.

  • We take a morning local boat trip to Dong Hoa Hiep Island and go ashore to visit the French Gothic Cathedral and colourful port area, with its colonial buildings, delightful flower gardens and local coconut candy and rice paper manufacturers.

  • We explore evergreen islands and visit the former Imperial residence the traditional house, where surviving members of the Kiet family will welcome us with tea, and we can wander in the fruit orchards around the house.

  • The Le Cochichine boat set sails torward Sadec and moor midstream for the night.

  • Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 2  SADEC-LONGXUYEN (B,L,D)

  • Rising early for another nice day we contemplate sunrise while having breakfast on board.

  • Visit the Sadec local market , following the tracks of French novelist Marguerite Duras.

  • Walk/Cycle amongst the ever blossoming Sadec flower village and local industries.

  • Visit brick and tile kilns and the manufacture of earthenware pots on the bank of the river

  • Back to the boat and enjoy welcome back drink while lunch is served.

  • The Le Cochinchine set sails through the canals of Lapvo with a magnificent landscape  along the river banks: rural walks, farming, nursery farm, fishing, boating, smiling school children all in full swing.

  • Visit Sugar craft factory

  • Enjoy traditional herbal foot massage on boat.

  • Dinner and relax while Le Cochinchine cruises towards Longxuyen

Day 3  LONGXUYEN -CHO MOI - HOAHOA(B,L,D)

  • Breakfast on board after the sunrise.

  • Explore the long Xuyen market one of the most bustling floating markets in Mekong Delta with hundreds of small boats barging and jostling for space as owners attempt to sell their goods.

  • Visit Culao OngHo and enjoy the scenery and walk/cycle to visit villages on the island, passing by farmers, children, villagers tending their daily load. See local farmers trading their produce on the water as they have done for centuries. You will have a unique opportunity to discover a side of Delta life that few travellers experience.

  • Enjoy lunch on the boat while our cruise carry on our journey through Chomoi, HoaHao and Chaudoc

  • Boat cruise through the floating fish-farm village producing tons and tons of fish beneath hundreds of floating houses, discover the ethnic Cham village with famous Mubarak Mosque and observe local women at their traditional weaving.

  • Enjoy an aperitif on the sun deck while taking in view of the the river.

  • Dinner and overnight on boat

Day 4  CHAUDOC - PHNOMPENH(B,L,D)

This morning we will have a boat ride from Chau Doc to Phnom Penh departing at 7am. The boat takes us along the Mekong River. It continues on to the Vietnamese (Vinh Xuong) - Cambodian (Kaom Samnar) border and then to Phnom Penh, capital of Cambodia. The journey takes approximately 4 hours. On arrival transfer to our hotel in Phnompenh, the capital of Kingdom of Cambodia. A visit to Phnom Penh is a very interesting experience indeed. It is a city with an interesting pulse and it gives you a very true taste of Asia. We will visit the Wats Phnom, National museum, Silver Pagoda and Royal Palace. Overnight at Sunway hotel**** in Phnom Penh, deluxe room. 

Day 5  PHNOMPENH - SIEMREAP(B,L,D)

This morning there will be a transfer to Phompenh airport to Siemriep Flight 990 0645/ 0735. Arrival Siemriep, transfer to the hotel .

We will visit the Floating Village on Tonle Sap Lake and take the boat trip to see the daily life on the village. The natural wonder of Tonle Sap offers an insight into the old tradition of riparian life and the natural splendor of the countryside. 

Afternoon, continue visit to WatThmey or Killing Field, contains a unique glass-walled stupa containing the bones of victims of the Khmer Rouge. After that, visit to Wat Memorial Monument. Later this afternoon, early evening, you will be taken by TukTuk, a small open-sided taxi common in Cambodia, to cruise around the suburb of Siem Reap town.

Day 6  ANGKOR WAT TEMPLE(B,L,D)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit Angkor Thom, the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, built from the late 12th century to the early 13th century by King Jayavarman VII and consists of 54 towers, the Royal Enclosure, the Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King, then visit Ta Prohm, surrounded by jungle. 

Visit Angkor Wat, the largest temples in world and covers an area of 200 hectares and surrounded by a moat and an exterior wall measuring 1300 metres x 1500 metres. Tonight we will enjoy dinner with traditional Khmer folk performance of Apsara at the local restaurant.

At leisure to visit the market or "Les Artisans d'Angkor - Chantiers Ecoles" of Siem Reap (if time permits). Transfer to Siem Reap International Airport for your departure flight.

Day 1  ANGKOR WAT TEMPLE (D)

Today we will visit the Floating Village on Tonle Sap Lake and take a boat trip to see the daily life in the village. The natural wonder of Tonle Sap offers an insight into the old tradition of riparian life and the natural splendor of the countryside. 

Afternoon: Visit the Roluos Group. The monuments of Rolous, which served as the capital of Indravarman I (reigned 877-89. PreahKo erected by Indravarman I in the late 9th century dedicated by the King to his ancestors in 880. Bakong the largest and most interesting of the Roluos group temples, with his active Buddhist monastery just to the north of the east entrance. Lolei built on an islet in the centre of a large reservoir (now rice fields) by Yasovarman I, the founder to the first city at Angkor.

Breakfast at the hotel. We then visit Banteay Srei temple (10th c), regarded as the jewel in the crown of Classical Khmer Art. 

Continue to visit  Artisan D’Angkor, a handicraft centre  for the wood and stone carving processes. Continue to visit to WatThmey or Killing Field, contains a unique glass-walled stupa containing the bones of victims of the Khmer Rouge. After that, visit Wat Memorial Monument. 

In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for the flight to Phnom Penh. Transfer to the hotel and check in. At leisure to walk in the city and and explore the local market.

Day 4  PHNOM PENH -CHAUDOC (B,L,D)

Breakfast at the hotel followed by the city tour.

A visit to Phnom Penh is a very interesting experience indeed. It is a city with an interesting pulse and it gives you a very true taste of Asia. We will visit the Wats Phnom, National Museum, Silver Pagoda and Royal Palace. Afternoon we will take the boat to Chaudoc, the boat ride leaves at 1pm and arrives Chaudoc at 5pm. Enjoy the cocktail drink on the sundeck. Dinner and overnight on boat. 

Day 5  CHAUDOC -CHO-MOI- LONGXUYEN (B,L,D)

Enjoy breakfast on the boat and contemplate the wonderful scenery of the morning in the Mekong River. We take the sampan through the floating fish-farm village producing tons and tons of fish beneath hundreds of floating houses, discover the ethnic Cham village with famous Mubarak Mosque and observe local women at their traditional weaving.

Continue our way to Longxuyen for the lovely sunset cruise. Promenade/cycle along the Ongho island, see daily life of the local people who live on both sides of the Mekong and small arroyos on the island.

There is ample opportunity to take in the beautiful view of local life, housing, villages, gardens, fish farm and hosting smiling children.

Enjoy a foot massage and sipping cocktails during the sunset.

Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 6  LONGXUYEN -SADEC-MYTHUAN (B,L,D)

Explore the long Xuyen market one of the most bustling floating markets in the Mekong Delta with hundreds of small boats barging and jostling for space as owners attempt to sell their goods. Board our boat and leisurely cruise down the Mekong River .
Visit the Sadec local market, following the tracks of French novelist Marguerite Duras.

Walk/cycle among the ever blossoming Sadec flower village, local industries and Caodai temple. Back to the boat and enjoy welcome back drink while lunch is served.

Continue our lovely cruise down the Mekong river toward Mythuan and Caithia where we embark on a lovely cycling tour along the island taking in the beautiful view of the scenery, local people, and get an insight into local life.

Enjy an aperitif with canapé during the sunset on the boat . 

Le Cochinchine drops anchor at the entry for the night.

Day 7  CAIBE FLOATING MARKET(B)

Breakfast on the boat.

We take a morning junk trip to Dong Hoa Hiep Island and go ashore to visit the colourful area, with its colonial buildings, delightful flower gardens and local coconut candy and rice paper manufacturers and then, explore evergreen islands and visit the former Imperial residence the traditional House, where surviving members of the Kiet family will welcome us with tea, and we can wander in the fruit orchards around the house.

Check out and disembark.

Pick up and transfer to Saigon. Drop off at your hotel in down town Saigon.

The trip concludes.
