Day 01   HANOI ARRIVAL

Arriving in Hanoi, you will be welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore the tree-lined boulevards, French Indochinese architecture and tranquil lakes of this unique city.

Day 02   HANOI – HA LONG BAY (B)

This morning, a city tour introduces you to the historical and cultural highlights of Hanoi. Visit Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and his former residence on stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature as well as Quan Thanh Temple and Tran Quoc Temple around West Lake.

Afternoon, travel by air-conditioned bus through the Red River Delta to beautiful Ha Long Bay. The scenic drive will pass through some of the rural landscape before arriving in the afternoon to the World Heritage Site of Ha Long Bay. A Bay with more than 3000 islands, which time, wind and waves have sculpted into fantastic shapes. Overnight in a hotel.

Day 03  HALONG BAY – HANOI (B)

Today you will have about 5 hours to cruise and explore the mystery and beauty of Ha Long Bay. Return to Hanoi following lunch of freshly caught seafood served on board. Visit Dong Trieu pottery village on the way to Hanoi.

Day 04  HANOI – HUE (Flight) (B)

Transfer to the airport for the flight to Hue. Upon arrival in Hue, lunch at a local restaurant. Sightseeing in Hue, visit the Mausoleum of Tu Duc, which was originally built as a palace retreat before becoming the Nguyen emperors' final resting place. End the day at Khai Dinh's Tomb which boasts a traditional Vietnamese design with a European touch, making it unique from the other tombs in Hue.

Day 05  HUE – DANANG – HOI AN (B)

Begin your day with a boat trip on the romantic Perfume River. Explore Hue's best-known religious site, Thien Mu Pagoda, and the Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. Lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, departure to Hoi An via Hai Van Pass for a whole view of the Pacific Ocean and famous Lang Co fishing village, on the way to Hoi An you will visit Cham Museum in Danang city where the remaining evidence of the Champa civilisation can be viewed crossing Hai Van Pass (Pass of the Ocean Clouds, enjoy spectacular views of sky and sea. Visit the Cham Museum in Danang and proceed to Hoi An. Accommodation at the hotel.

Day 06  HOI AN – DANANG – SAIGON (Flight) (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Half day city tour to discover the historic town which used to be a prosperous seaport city during the 16th to 18th centuries. Visit Hoi An market, Tan Ky old house, the Japanese covered Bridge and the Fukien Assembly Hall.  Lunch. Transfer to Danang airport for an evening flight to Ho Chi Minh city. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
Day 07  SAIGON – MY THO (B)

Heading out of the town, we travel by roads to the Mekong Delta, Vietnam's largest rice bowl. On arrival in My Tho, we embark on a boat navigating around the intricate small canals in the delta region, which is a great way to observe the local lifestyle close-up and catch a view dotted by many islands. The exciting excursion will pass the lush green vegetation before arriving at the famous Unicorn Island. Here we have opportunities to stroll around an orchard, taste many seasonal fruits and enjoy wonderful traditional music. The next stop of our trip is Ben Tre Province to visit some fascinating local industries. After feasting on a huge lunch we return to Ho Chi Minh, stopping off along the way to see the beautiful Vinh Trang Pagoda. Dinner  and overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 08  SAIGON – DEPARTURE (B)

The day is at your leisure for last minute sightseeing or shopping until your transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for your onward flight.
